We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our esteemed team at Clínica Especializada de Maputo. As a Healthcare Professional at CEM, you will be instrumental in providing primary or specialized medical services, conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic interpretations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide necessary interventions with precision and care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment protocols.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records in accordance with institutional policies and national regulations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, contribute to care planning, and improve service delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all medical ethics, professional standards, and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
- Stay abreast of the latest medical advancements and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant healthcare field (e.g., Nursing, Medicine, Physiotherapy).
- Valid professional license/registration to practice in Mozambique.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in Portuguese.
- Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and patient-centered care approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for record keeping and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or specialization in a particular medical field.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Proficiency in English or other local Mozambican languages.
- Certifications in specialized areas such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Prior experience working in a private healthcare setting in Mozambique.
