Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial van for local and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload packages and goods, ensuring secure and damage-free transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Handle delivery documentation and payment collection when required.
Required Skills
- Valid Driver's License (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs independently.
- Proficient navigation skills, including familiarity with GPS devices and mapping applications.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the Tulsa, Oklahoma metropolitan area and surrounding routes.
Preferred Qualifications
