Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and/or urgent care services via virtual platforms (video, phone, chat).
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, virtual physical exams, and psychosocial evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations and company protocols.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging).
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-management techniques.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic health records (EHRs).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all clinical guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements related to telehealth practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Required Skills
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado (and multi-state licensure/compact license eligibility is a strong plus).
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Proven experience in a telehealth or virtual care setting.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate strong decision-making skills in a remote environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and empathy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple patient populations or specialties.
- Additional state licenses beyond Colorado (e.g., compact state license).
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish).
