Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving, storing, dispatching, and tracking goods.
- Manage warehouse inventory accurately, conducting regular stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring optimal storage conditions.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and transportation methods to ensure efficient and timely distribution of products.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, including delivery times, costs, and inventory movements.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff and delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
- Generate regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and delivery metrics for management review.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management (4+ years)
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
