Key Responsibilities
- Generate, send, and track invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process and apply incoming payments (EFTs, card payments) against outstanding invoices.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and initiate collection efforts through professional communication via phone and email.
- Perform daily reconciliations of accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, billing inquiries, and customer account issues efficiently.
- Prepare weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports, aging analyses, and cash flow forecasts.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update account information as needed.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve client issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Matric/High School Diploma with a strong focus on mathematics or accounting.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (basic formulas, data entry).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities.
