Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport supermarket goods from distribution centers or stores directly to customer locations within Mombasa and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to assigned delivery schedules and routes, ensuring on-time arrivals and departures.
- Verify order accuracy against delivery manifests before departure and upon delivery to customers.
- Handle all products with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition, including perishable and fragile items.
- Collect payments from customers if required and process receipts accurately.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, resolving minor issues or escalating complex problems to supervisors.
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles responsibly, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed, ensuring proper securing of items in the vehicle.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid Kenyan driving license (Class B/C1 or equivalent for commercial vehicles).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
- In-depth knowledge of Mombasa city routes, traffic patterns, and geographical areas.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 25 kg regularly.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Swahili.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.

- High School Certificate (KCSE) or equivalent.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software.
