Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client assessments to determine needs and develop appropriate treatment goals.
- Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic techniques (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, etc.).
- Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings for case consultation and professional development.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure holistic client care.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice for mental health professionals.
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Eligible for or actively pursuing state licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in Wisconsin.
- Strong foundational knowledge of counseling theories and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated empathy, active listening, and rapport-building abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
