Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly skilled and passionate freelance Photographer specializing in both event and commercial photography. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional to partner with us on various projects in and around the Nigerian National Christian Centre, Abuja, and broader FCT region. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong artistic vision, and the technical proficiency to capture compelling images that tell stories and elevate brands.
In this role, you will be responsible for documenting a wide array of events, from corporate conferences and product launches to social gatherings and public ceremonies, ensuring every significant moment is beautifully preserved. Beyond events, you will also contribute to commercial assignments, creating high-quality visual content for marketing materials, websites, social media, and advertising campaigns. This requires versatility, a deep understanding of lighting, composition, and post-production, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and our creative team to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality event photography, capturing key moments, emotions, and overall atmosphere.
- Produce compelling commercial photography for product launches, corporate branding, advertising, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with clients and our creative team to understand project briefs, objectives, and deliver visual content that aligns with their vision.
- Manage all aspects of photography projects from pre-production planning and equipment setup to on-site shooting and post-production editing.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited, high-resolution images in specified formats, adhering to branding guidelines and quality standards.
- Maintain and care for professional photography equipment, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously enhance photographic skills and offerings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an event and commercial photographer with a strong portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in using professional-grade DSLR/mirrorless cameras and lenses.
- Advanced knowledge of lighting techniques (natural, artificial, studio) and equipment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing software.
- Excellent eye for composition, color, and visual storytelling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Professionalism and a client-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal education or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
