Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Manage warehouse inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and optimization of storage layouts.
- Develop and optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure efficient and timely distribution of products.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, transporters, internal departments (e.g., sales, procurement), and clients to resolve logistics-related issues.
- Utilize logistics software and ERP systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate comprehensive reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehousing and delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards within warehouse and delivery operations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all logistics activities, including waybills, invoices, and customs forms where applicable.
Required Skills
- Proven professional experience (minimum 3 years) in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, warehouse best practices, and last-mile delivery processes.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to address operational challenges and identify efficient solutions.
