Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute financial audit engagements for clients across various sectors, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements and reports in accordance with Swiss GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable accounting frameworks.
- Provide expert advice and technical accounting consultations to clients on complex financial reporting issues, new accounting standards, and best practices.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial data, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for accounting-related matters.
- Oversee junior staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and conducting performance reviews.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all project deliverables, managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Participate in business development activities, assisting in proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations, integrating new knowledge into client services.
Required Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in audit, accounting, or financial advisory, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Proficiency in Swiss GAAP, IFRS, and other international accounting standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with auditing complex financial instruments or specialized industries (e.g., financial services, life sciences).
