Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily care for farm animals, including feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health.
- Assist with all aspects of gardening and horticulture, such as planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, and composting.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the urban farm grounds, communal areas, and accommodation.
- Undertake general site maintenance and minor repairs to fences, structures, and equipment.
- Support the preparation and delivery of community workshops, educational visits, and farm events.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools and basic power tools relevant to farm and garden work.
- Assist with waste management and recycling initiatives across the site.
- Interact positively with visitors and community members, providing information and assistance as needed.
