As an HR Assistant, you will be the backbone of our HR administrative functions, ensuring smooth processes from onboarding to offboarding, and providing essential support to both employees and HR colleagues. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, coordinating induction programs, and completing necessary paperwork.
- Support recruitment activities by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Process HR-related documentation such as leave requests, performance reviews, and employee changes, ensuring timely and accurate input into HR systems.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex issues to the appropriate HR specialist.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support the offboarding process, including exit formalities and documentation.
- Generate HR reports and analytics as required, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UAE labor laws and company internal policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in an HR administrative or assistant role, preferably within the UAE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) – e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HR.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
- Experience working in a large, multicultural organization.
- Knowledge of UAE labor law (Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021).
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
