Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing explanations for performance deviations.
- Prepare and present accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Monitor financial performance against plans, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with various business units to gather financial data and understand business drivers.
- Support strategic projects and initiatives with financial analysis and modelling.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst, accounting, or similar role
- Proven proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial functions)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, or CIMA qualification (or working towards one)
