Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations, prior to meal times.
- Serve food and beverages to guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils, utilizing dishwashing equipment efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, storage rooms, and equipment.
- Restock supplies, including plates, glasses, and condiments, as needed throughout service periods.
- Support chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Dispose of waste and maintain waste disposal areas in a sanitary condition.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Participate in inventory management by helping to receive and store deliveries.
