Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon their arrival and seat them appropriately.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring all special requests or dietary needs are noted.
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure their satisfaction with food and service.
- Clear tables, prepare them for the next guests, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/card transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Attend to guest concerns or complaints with patience and escalate issues when necessary.
- Learn and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
