Are you a meticulous problem-solver with a passion for optimizing complex logistics flows? CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team in Rotterdam. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of various supply chain processes for our diverse client portfolio. You will delve into the intricacies of our operations, identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and driving continuous enhancement across the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement to final delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current supply chain processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions for optimization and cost reduction.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock movements, and ensure accurate inventory data through regular audits and system updates.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., warehousing, transportation), suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and resolve logistical issues proactively.
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to foster seamless information flow and operational excellence.
  • Utilize supply chain software and tools (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) to track shipments, analyze performance metrics, and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Conduct demand forecasting and supply planning to prevent shortages or overstock situations, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and adhere to all relevant company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., customs, international trade laws).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing overall supply chain performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, highlighting key trends, anomalies, and strategic recommendations to management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations role.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using Supply Chain Management (SCM) software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse, cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
  • Fluency in Dutch is a significant plus, enabling better communication with local stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Certifications in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM, SCPro).
