Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally driven and visionary Sales Director to lead our dynamic sales team in France. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market share growth across relevant channels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional excellence.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners, negotiating high-level agreements.
- Manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment.
- Monitor sales performance, preparing regular reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure integrated commercial plans.
- Oversee the development and execution of sales plans for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Represent L'Oréal at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales leadership role within the FMCG or beauty industry.
- Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving significant business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with proficiency in sales forecasting and market analysis.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the French retail landscape and consumer market.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
