Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately verify incoming materials against delivery notes, ensuring all items match specifications.
- Safely store materials in designated warehouse locations, maintaining proper organization, accessibility, and adherence to storage protocols.
- Prepare and stage raw materials and components for the production lines according to daily schedules and production demands.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of material movement, consumption, and stock levels.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (comprehensive training provided).
- Package finished goods for shipment, ensuring products are protected, labeled correctly, and ready for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times, strictly adhering to all company and industry safety protocols.
- Report any damaged materials, equipment malfunctions, or potential safety hazards to supervisors promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively and professionally with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall factory operations and contribute to team success.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English to follow work orders and safety guidelines.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) regularly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a factory setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials, verifying quantities, and completing documentation.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong, positive work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including wearing appropriate PPE and following established safety procedures rigorously.
- Eagerness to learn new skills, adapt to evolving tasks, and embrace continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as an integral part of a diverse and dynamic team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (NQF Level 4 qualification is advantageous).

- Basic understanding of inventory principles and stock rotation methodologies.
- Valid South African Driver's License (Code B/EB) – an advantage for potential future roles involving transport or site movement.
