Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided van for local deliveries and pickups within the Miami-Dade area.
- Follow planned routes and schedules, adapting to real-time traffic and weather conditions.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to various business and residential locations.
- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents and obtain necessary signatures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and mileage documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Career.supersecrets professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit and delivery.
Required Skills
- Valid Florida Class D driver's license.
- Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report) for the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Proficiency with GPS devices, navigation applications, and route optimization tools.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle checks (fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional delivery driver or logistics experience.
