Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale biological datasets (e.g., RNA-seq, WES, scRNA-seq, proteomics) generated from various experimental platforms.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain robust bioinformatics pipelines and workflows for data processing, quality control, and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams of biologists, chemists, and data scientists to understand project requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
- Interpret complex biological data, identify key findings, and translate them into actionable conclusions for drug discovery programs.
- Contribute to the design of experiments, advising on appropriate sequencing strategies and data analysis methodologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in bioinformatics tools, algorithms, and biological databases, evaluating and integrating new technologies.
- Generate high-quality visualizations and present results clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all analyses, code, and methodologies to maintain reproducibility and scientific rigor.

Required Skills
- Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in bioinformatics data analysis, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong command-line skills in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods applicable to biological data analysis.
- Experience with common bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., BLAST, GATK, samtools, Ensembl, NCBI, UCSC Genome Browser).
- Fundamental knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, and genomics principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information effectively.
