Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies, as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications, refills, and other therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations and company protocols.
- Provide patient education on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR) of all patient interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice, including HIPAA compliance.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide empathetic and culturally sensitive care to all patients.
Required Skills
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Tennessee (multi-state compact preferred).
- Current national board certification (ANCC or AANP).
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated experience with telehealth platforms and virtual patient care.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Exceptional diagnostic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and colleague interaction.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload efficiently in a remote setting.
- High degree of empathy, professionalism, and patient-centered approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or chronic disease management.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
