Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care and feeding of livestock and other animals on the estate, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Undertake general grounds maintenance, including mowing, strimming, weeding, and landscape upkeep.
- Support with fencing repairs, minor construction tasks, and general upkeep of outbuildings and facilities.
- Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and equipment (training provided as needed).
- Assist with seasonal agricultural tasks, such as planting, harvesting, and field preparation.
- Monitor the estate for any issues or hazards, reporting them promptly to the Estate Manager.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all working areas, including animal enclosures and storage facilities.
- Collaborate effectively with the estate team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and estate policies.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Estate Manager to support overall operations.
