Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, including history taking and physical exams via telehealth platforms.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, developing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results in accordance with state regulations and company protocols.
• Provide patient education on disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely electronic health records (EHRs).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with telehealth best practices and clinical guidelines.
• Manage patient follow-ups and referrals to specialists when appropriate.

Required Skills

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in California (APRN).
• National board certification (ANCC or AANP).
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a virtual patient caseload effectively.
• Comfortable with technology and quick to adapt to new software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically in a telehealth or remote care role.
