Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms for the analysis of complex biological and clinical data.
- Provide expert biostatistical input and data science support for pre-clinical, clinical trial, and real-world evidence studies.
- Interpret and present statistical results and data-driven insights to project teams, senior management, and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and validate analytical methodologies, ensuring rigor, reproducibility, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers, clinicians, data engineers, and other stakeholders to define analytical objectives and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to the development of statistical programming standards, best practices, and innovative data science tools.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and generate hypotheses to guide scientific investigations and inform drug development strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in biostatistics, data science, and computational biology, applying new techniques as appropriate.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages (R, Python)
- Expertise in advanced statistical modeling, inference, and machine learning techniques
- Solid understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory statistics, and pharmaceutical development processes
- Experience with large-scale data analysis, data manipulation, and visualization tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, nQuery, WinBUGS)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
