Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon their arrival and seat them appropriately.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system or notepad.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor tables to ensure guests are satisfied with food and service.
- Clear dirty dishes and utensils from tables and reset them for the next guests.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately and process transactions using a till system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and courteously.
