Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute photography assignments for various events (e.g., conferences, workshops, launches, social gatherings) and commercial projects (e.g., product photography, headshots, branding content).
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific photography requirements for each project.
- Utilize professional-grade photography equipment, ensuring optimal lighting, composition, and technical settings to capture high-quality images.
- Perform extensive post-production editing, including colour correction, retouching, and cropping, using industry-standard software to deliver polished final assets.
- Manage and organize photographic files efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of edited images to clients within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of photography trends, equipment, and editing techniques.
- Provide expert advice on photography concepts and execution to enhance client projects.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in event photography, capturing dynamic moments and atmosphere.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial photography, including product, lifestyle, or corporate branding.
- Expert proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing and retouching.
- Strong understanding of photographic principles, composition, and lighting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and subjects.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing diverse event and commercial photography work.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
