Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming stock and materials, verifying counts against packing lists.
- Perform accurate picking and packing of customer orders from designated storage areas.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling for safe transit.
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely using appropriate equipment or manual methods.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and participate in cycle counting activities to ensure accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) repeatedly.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counting.
