Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics strategies and governance frameworks for clients.
- Conduct ethical impact assessments and risk analyses of AI systems, identifying potential biases, fairness issues, privacy concerns, and societal implications.
- Advise clients on best practices for responsible AI, ensuring compliance with global and regional AI ethics regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act principles).
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate ethical considerations into the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagements to foster awareness and understanding of AI ethics within client organizations and internal teams.
- Contribute to Accenture’s thought leadership on AI ethics, including developing methodologies, publishing articles, and representing the company at industry events.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI ethics research, regulatory landscapes, and emerging industry standards.
- Assist clients in establishing monitoring and auditing mechanisms for AI systems to ensure ongoing ethical performance and accountability.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a consulting, advisory, or research role focused on AI ethics, responsible technology, or digital ethics.
- Strong understanding of core AI/Machine Learning concepts, algorithms, and their potential ethical implications.
- In-depth knowledge of key AI ethics principles (e.g., fairness, accountability, transparency, privacy, safety) and frameworks.
- Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and emerging AI-specific regulations.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to navigate complex ethical dilemmas.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex ethical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as Philosophy, Ethics, Law, Computer Science, Data Science, or Public Policy.
- Experience with designing or implementing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks for technology.
- Demonstrated experience in a client-facing consulting role, advising large organizations.
- Published articles, research papers, or presented at conferences on topics related to AI ethics or responsible innovation.
- Proficiency in Latvian language is a plus, though English is the primary working language.
