Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during various dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and cleanings.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by setting up instruments, materials, and equipment according to procedure requirements.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and appointment details.
- Greet and prepare patients for dental treatment, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients and answer any questions they may have.
- Manage dental supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and organized.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the dental clinic at all times.
