Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation projects, from ideation and concept validation through development, pilot, and successful market launch.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with strategic business goals.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient execution.
- Facilitate ideation workshops, design thinking sprints, and prototyping activities to generate and refine innovative solutions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders (R&D, Product Management, Sales, Marketing) and external partners (startups, academia, customers).
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively, communicating proactively with all relevant parties.
- Promote and implement agile project management methodologies and best practices within innovation projects.
- Prepare and present regular project updates, progress reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Champion a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and experimentation across the organization.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, with at least 2 years focused on innovation or new product development.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup).
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA, MSc) or PhD in a relevant field.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project management certifications.
