Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior estimators in preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction and engineering projects.
- Review and interpret project blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents to identify scope and requirements.
- Gather and analyse data on materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Support the preparation of tender documents and proposals.
- Maintain and update estimation databases and cost libraries.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, suppliers, and clients under supervision.
- Learn and apply industry-standard estimation software and tools.
- Participate in site visits and project meetings as required to understand project context.
- Assist in risk assessment and value engineering analysis.
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and industry regulations.
