Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, helping them locate products and answer basic inquiries.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail area, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are clearly priced.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock to supervisors, and assist with receiving and unpacking new merchandise.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct calls to the appropriate pharmacy personnel when necessary.
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with non-medical administrative tasks as required.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, security, and customer privacy.
- Learn and apply knowledge of common over-the-counter products to better assist customers.
