Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to minimize transit times and operational costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to resolve logistical issues efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.
- Utilize logistics software (WMS, ERP, TMS) to track orders, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimal utilization of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery statuses and address any concerns promptly.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control, and logistics operations
- Demonstrated ability in route planning and optimization
