Job Description
We are actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Nonprofit Program Manager to join our committed team at Ziedot.lv. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle management of assigned nonprofit programs, from conception and planning to execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including objectives, activities, timelines, budgets, and performance indicators.
- Manage program budgets effectively, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to funding guidelines.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, partners, donors, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor program progress, identify challenges, and implement timely solutions to ensure successful delivery of outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports on program performance, impact, and financial status for internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure all program activities comply with Ziedot.lv policies, ethical standards, and relevant legal frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion, improvement, and innovation to enhance our reach and effectiveness.
- Represent Ziedot.lv at relevant events, conferences, and meetings to promote our mission and programs.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in program management within the nonprofit sector.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- Fluency in Latvian and English (spoken and written).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with fundraising and grant writing.
- Familiarity with the Latvian social and economic context.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with CRM software and data management systems.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Russian).
