Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, under supervision.
- Support patient mobility, including transfers, ambulation, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment, including tidying rooms and changing linens.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, behavior, or vital signs to supervising nurses promptly.
- Assist with meal service and ensure patients receive appropriate nutrition and hydration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and comforting atmosphere.
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Participate actively in all assigned training sessions and workshops.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Document care provided accurately as per facility policies.
