Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport grocery orders from the supermarket to customer addresses within specified delivery windows.
- Verify order accuracy before departure and upon delivery, ensuring all items match the customer's invoice.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, addressing any questions or concerns politely and professionally.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe manner, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and regulations in Nigeria.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (e.g., fuel, oil, tires) to ensure the vehicle is always in optimal working condition.
- Navigate routes efficiently using maps, GPS devices, and personal knowledge of Kano roads to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
- Handle cash or electronic payment transactions securely and accurately when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Report any delivery issues, vehicle malfunctions, or customer feedback promptly to the supervisor.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from the delivery vehicle as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Class E Driver's License
- Excellent knowledge of Kano road networks and shortcuts
