Key Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Dietitians with patient care activities, including preparing educational materials and tracking client progress.
- Help maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all information.
- Prepare and organize materials for nutrition classes, workshops, and individual counseling sessions.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence.
- Monitor inventory of nutritional supplements and educational resources, assisting with reordering as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dietitian's office and consultation areas.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in nutrition and dietetics.
- Provide friendly and helpful support to clients, ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
- Perform data entry and basic reporting as required by the dietetic team.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong interest in nutrition, health, and wellness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and a strong work ethic
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a nutrition, dietetics, or health-related program
