Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans under supervision.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques (CBT, DBT, person-centered, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and timely client records, progress notes, and other documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities.
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and improving their overall mental well-being.
- Refer clients to external resources and support services as needed.
- Adhere to all confidentiality guidelines and professional ethical codes.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach.
- Basic understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and telehealth platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
