Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior estimators in preparing detailed cost breakdowns for various projects.
- Gather and analyze data on material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Review project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to understand scope.
- Maintain and update cost databases and pricing models.
- Prepare summary reports and participate in internal review meetings.
- Research and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members virtually to ensure accurate estimates.
- Learn and effectively utilize estimating software and tools.
- Adhere to company policies and industry best practices for accurate estimation.
