Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter new patient data, medical histories, treatment plans, and other critical healthcare information into electronic health record (EHR) systems and databases.
- Update and maintain existing patient records to ensure all information is current, complete, and correct.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of data by comparing it to source documents, resolving discrepancies, or reporting issues to supervisors.
- Organize and file patient documents and records, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with confidentiality protocols.
