Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery van to transport goods across Abu Dhabi City and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic operational checks of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations diligently.
- Verify delivery contents with recipients and obtain necessary signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Handle cash or electronic payments when required, accurately recording transactions.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delivery discrepancies promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or delays.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE driving license (or ability to obtain one upon arrival)
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Good physical condition and ability to lift and carry packages up to 25 kg
