Woolworths Group is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Talent Development Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. In this pivotal hybrid role, you will be instrumental in supporting the design, delivery, and ongoing management of our critical learning and development programs across the Group. This isn’t just an administrative role; it’s an opportunity to contribute significantly to the professional journeys of thousands of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in a rapidly evolving retail landscape. You will act as a central point of contact for program participants and stakeholders, managing logistics, scheduling, and resources to ensure seamless execution of training initiatives. From onboarding programs for new leaders to specialized skill-building workshops and continuous professional development, your work will directly impact our team’s capability and our ability to meet strategic objectives.

You will leverage various learning technologies, coordinate with external vendors, track program effectiveness, and assist in preparing engaging communication materials. Furthermore, you will play a role in collating feedback, analysing data on program participation and effectiveness, and suggesting improvements to continually refine our talent development offerings. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the logistics for various talent development programs, workshops, and training sessions, including scheduling, venue booking (virtual and physical), and materials preparation.
  • Manage participant registrations, communications, and pre/post-program surveys.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for program participants, facilitators, and external vendors.
  • Maintain and update learning management systems (LMS) with course content, attendance records, and completion data.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of training materials, presentations, and communication strategies.
  • Monitor program effectiveness through feedback collection and data analysis, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Support the Talent Development team with administrative tasks, reporting, and project coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to learning and development.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive learning culture across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a coordination, administrative, or support role within Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HR Information Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a large, fast-paced corporate environment, preferably within retail or a similar industry.
  • Familiarity with various learning methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting on L&D metrics.
