Key Responsibilities
- Execute visual merchandising directives and planograms to maintain consistent brand standards.
- Arrange and display merchandise according to promotional themes, seasonality, and sales performance.
- Ensure products are correctly priced, labeled, and stocked to maximize sales opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify stock discrepancies, and report on product movement to store management.
- Collaborate with store teams to set up and dismantle promotional displays, window displays, and in-store signage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are easily accessible.
- Provide feedback on product performance, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Assist with receiving new merchandise, checking for accuracy, and preparing it for the sales floor.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail merchandising or a similar visual role
- Strong aesthetic sense and creative flair for product presentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of sales trends and inventory management principles
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and move merchandise (up to 20kg)
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field
- Experience with planogram software or visual merchandising tools
- Familiarity with retail operations in Eastern Province, Rwanda
