Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies or damages.
- Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment, adhering to specified packing standards and timelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse functions and operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory counting and record-keeping.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety procedures.
