Job Description

Are you a seasoned policy expert with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and a passion for shaping the future of digital health? Zur Rose Group is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Healthcare Policy Advisor to join our Public Affairs and Policy team in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in monitoring, analyzing, and influencing healthcare policy and regulatory developments at cantonal, federal, and, where relevant, European levels. You will be the voice of Zur Rose Group, advocating for policies that support patient access, digital innovation, and the sustainable growth of integrated care models. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the evolution of healthcare delivery in Switzerland. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, industry associations, patient advocacy groups, and internal leadership. Your expertise will guide our strategic responses to legislative changes, ensuring our operations remain compliant while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in digital healthcare. The ideal candidate possesses an intricate knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, including its complex federal structure and the interplay between healthcare providers, insurers, and patients. You will translate complex policy information into clear, actionable insights for internal teams, and craft compelling arguments to advance our policy positions externally. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks in a rapidly evolving sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret relevant healthcare policy and regulatory developments at local, national, and, where applicable, European levels.
  • Develop and execute advocacy strategies to influence policy-making processes in line with Zur Rose Group's strategic objectives.
  • Prepare policy briefs, position papers, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, government officials, regulatory authorities, industry associations, and patient groups.
  • Represent Zur Rose Group in relevant working groups, committees, and public forums.
  • Provide expert advice and insights to internal teams (e.g., Legal, Commercial, Product Development) on policy implications and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify emerging policy trends and potential risks or opportunities for the digital healthcare sector.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and corporate positioning of Zur Rose Group regarding public policy matters.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Political Science, Law, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare policy, public affairs, government relations, or a related role, preferably within the Swiss context.
  • Profound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, its regulatory framework, and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex policy issues and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; French is a significant advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD or additional advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working within a government body, regulatory agency, pharmaceutical company, or a digital health company.
  • Existing network within the Swiss healthcare policy landscape.
  • Fluency in French and/or Italian in addition to German and English.
