We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse and delivery operations to join a dynamic team in Karu, Abuja. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency, considering factors such as traffic, delivery windows, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using relevant software, conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to schedule deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs forms where applicable.
- Monitor the performance of delivery vehicles and drivers, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company standards.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, delivery metrics, and inventory status to inform management decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing logistics efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Required Skills
