Are you a passionate environmental professional with a keen eye for detail and a drive to make a tangible impact? Bee’ah is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Impact Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in evaluating the environmental implications of various projects, policies, and developments across the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for conducting thorough environmental impact assessments (EIAs), preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for proposed projects, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Prepare detailed EIA reports, environmental management plans (EMPs), and other relevant environmental documentation.
- Review project plans, designs, and operational procedures to identify potential environmental risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Ensure all environmental studies and reports comply with local regulations (e.g., UAE Federal Law, local emirate regulations) and international standards.
- Liaise with internal project teams, external consultants, government agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate the EIA process.
- Monitor project compliance with environmental permits, licenses, and approved EMPs through site inspections and audits.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental legislation, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to environmental impact assessment.
- Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions on environmental topics to internal and external audiences.
- Contribute to the development of environmental policies, strategies, and sustainability initiatives within Bee'ah.
- Provide expert environmental advice and support to various departments within the company on an ongoing basis.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and preparing related reports.
- Strong understanding of UAE environmental regulations and international environmental standards.
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant environmental discipline.
- Professional certification in environmental management or impact assessment.
- Experience with environmental modeling software or GIS applications.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and public consultation processes.
- Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects in the GCC region.
