Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironers, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and wear, treating or reporting as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Manage and organize laundry inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained for all departments.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area at all times.
- Handle guest laundry requests with confidentiality and care, ensuring timely return.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support overall hotel operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar role within a hospitality setting.
- Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
