Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily educational activities and lessons.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help create and maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Support children's personal care routines, including toileting, napping, and meal times.
- Observe and document children's progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the Lead Teacher.
- Foster positive communication and relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Prepare learning materials, craft supplies, and classroom displays.
- Assist with classroom management strategies to promote positive behaviour and interaction.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Understanding of child development principles (ages 2-5).
