Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Coordinate and schedule efficient delivery routes for drivers, optimizing for time and cost.
- Manage inventory control systems, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Supervise warehouse staff and delivery personnel, providing guidance and fostering a productive work environment.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the warehouse and during delivery operations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed logistics reports on inventory levels, delivery performance, and operational costs.
- Address and resolve logistical issues, delivery discrepancies, and customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with local and national transportation regulations and industry standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in inventory control and logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to coordinate complex schedules and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
